Glen Swaim

The first gun is a Ruger Bisley Vaquero, 5 1/2 inch 45 Colt. The other is a 5 1/2 inch Blackhawk in 45 Colt. This is the "before" picture. I am going to swap the grip frames, hammers and triggers. I should end up with a Ruger Vaquero and a Bisley Blackhawk. Wish me luck.

BEFORE

Since posting the "Before" picture I got the swap done… with a little difficulty.

AFTER

The other picture is a target shot with my Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull. I had fully intended to trade this gun off. The gun shop I frequent has an indoor range so I decided to shoot the 20 rounds I had left. They consisted of a 255 grain LSWC Magnus bullet, 25.0 grains of 2400 powder and Winchester rifle primers. This target is 25 yards off the bench. This is all 20 shots. Had to have that flyer. But I kept the gun!

Clockwise from 1 o'clock,
357 Magnum, 41 Magnum, 45 Colt, 45 ACP
and last at 11 o'clock is the 44 Magnum. I
have always wanted guns in this configuration
so when S&W came out with them I had to have
one of each. Oh yea, I know the grips are pitiful
but I spent my budget on the guns and had
none left for good grips.

Picture of my two Smith & Wesson 624's.
This six inch has never been
fired
but that will change soon.
